HARDENBERG – The upcoming edition of Installatie & Elektro Vakbeurs Hardenberg, which was planned for September 8, 9 and 10 2020 in Evenementenhal Hardenberg, will be moved to November 24, 25 and 26, 2020. The restrictions on events, related to Covid-19, currently imposed by the Dutch government, state that no largescale events can be hosted prior to 1 September 2020. “Despite the fact that Installatie & Elektro Vakbeurs Hardenberg takes place just after that period, we have had close contact with our exhibitors in the past weeks. Their feedback showed that the majority supports to move the fair a few months.” says Mathilde Koniuszek on behalf of Installatie & Elektro Vakbeurs.
From this moment and onwards, fair organizer Easyfairs is working on making its events corona-proof. Koniuszek: “It is our assumption that the 1.5 meter society is here to stay, for the time being. This greatly impacts the way we organize fairs and events. Our main focus is that our events are safe and that everyone feels safe. We are therefore setting up various protocols to ensure that our fairs can continue in a responsible manner. For example, implementing so-called “time slots” for visitors. This way everyone will get enough time and space to safely learn about new products and solutions and to have meaningful conversations.”
The introduction of the Smart Badge is also designed to keep the 1.5 meter distance. Starting with the upcoming edition, every visitor will first receive a badge which contains a special chip: the Smart Badge. During the fair, visitors can scan booths with their Smart Badge to exchange information without the need for physical contact with exhibitors. After the exhibition, the visitors will receive an email with an overview of all exhibitors they have scanned.
